A tradition begun in 2005 is continued March 29 & 30 at Clearwater CC and Dunedin CC as each club fields a team of sixteen women competing in a two day "Ryder Cup" style match.
The sixteen women from each club are paired up as twosomes and play two nine-hole doubles matches on Saturday at Dunedin CC and another two nine-hole doubles matches on Sunday at Clearwater CC for a total of 32 matches.
The winner of each match earns 1 point; a draw earns each team 1/2 point; The Club with the most points at the conclusion of the matches wins the Cup.
